Ludowici Chester Smith, died at his residence in Ludowici, Monday, March 11, 2013. Native of Sanford Maine; has lived in Ludowici for over 30 years as a construction worker. Chet is survived by mother Janice Smith of Ludowici; daughter Chelsea Smith of Reidsville; 2 brothers Wallace and Allen Smith of Ludowici; and 1 sister Tammy Tootle also of Ludowici. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday March 14, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home, viewing will be 1 hour prior to service, and Cremation will follow.
