Hugh Dorsey West Jr.

Hugh West Jr. age 70 died at home Sunday February 3, 2013. Native of Elizabeth City, NJ and later moved to Hinesville in 1991. Hugh was in the U.S. ARMY as a medic and retired 28 year after serving in civil service at the Federal Bureau of Prisons in Talladega, AL. Hugh is preceded in death by his father Hugh West Sr., mother Mabel Jackson. He leaves behind a loving daughter Ann Ross-Hill and son-in-law Robert. A viewing will be held for Hugh on Saturday February 9, 2013 from 5-7 pm at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Private services will be held at a later date.
