Ludowici Wayde Renee Ferry of Ludowici, Georgia, formerly of Fredonia, New York lost his battle with cancer on January 30, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on August 9, 1960 in Dunkirk, New York to Kenneth A. Ferry Sr. and Margie Seleska. Renee attended Fredonia Schools before moving to Brunswick, Georgia at age 17, where he became a well-respected auto mechanic for the past 30 years, the last 5 years owning and operating his own garage, “The Busted Knuckle” with his business partner Bruce Strout. He enjoyed motorcycles and car racing. He was true to his friends and family. His biggest love in his life was his daughter Breanna and his granddaughter Lora-Lei who was born on October 26, 2012. He is survived by his daughter, Breanna Ferry; granddaughter, Lora-Lei Ferry; son Chris Combs, and by his parents, Kenneth (Linda) Ferry Sr. of Largo, Florida and Margie (late Clifford) Seleska of Cassadaga, New York. He is further survived by brothers Kenneth (Susan) Ferry Jr. of Fredonia, NY; Wyatt Dean Ferry of Dunkirk, NY; Daniel Ferry of Cassadaga, NY; Eric (Diana) Ferry of Riceboro, Georgia; and Brian Ferry of Ludowici, Georgia, his sisters, Sandra Ferry of Cassadaga, NY and Athena Jaszczak of Cassadaga, NY. His very good friends also survive him, Lee and Susan Davis; Bruce and Kim Strout, and Nita Harrelson, all of Georgia, who all cared for him and sat by his side throughout his illness. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. No prior viewing will be held. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at The New Beginnings Church located off Highway 57 in Ludowici. A Memorial service will also be held in Fredonia, NY at a later date to be announced. Honorary Pallbearers are the Hospice Staff of South Georgia.
