Ranoda Belinda Gronefeld

Savannah/Hinesville Ranoda Boyer Gronefeld, 41, died Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center after a long illness. She was born in Germany and lived in Hinesville for 10 years. Ranoda graduated from Bradwell Institute and went to work with the pre kindergarteners at Habersham YMCA. She also worked at Jacob G. Smith Elementary in Savannah as a paraprofessional. She was a member of Savannah Christian Church where she volunteered her time. She is predeceased by her father Lee Edward Boyer and sister Darlene Boyer. Survivors are her husband Jay Gronefeld of Ellabell; daughter Rebecca Marie Mason of Ellabell; 2 stepsons Eric and Zach Gronefeld of Ellabell; mother Joan Boyer of Hinesville; 3 sisters Sharon Boyer Fagerstrom of Savannah, Bonita Boyer Miller of Cookstown, NJ, Lisa Boyer Cantey of Baxley, Ga.; 3 brothers Lee Raymond Boyer of Hinesville, Cyril Boyer and Clayton D. Boyer both of Richmond Hill; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Lee Raymond Boyer, Cyril Boyer, Clayton D. Boyer, Dean Fagerstrom, William Cantey, and Ellis Miller. Visitation will be Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 12-2 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral will begin at 2 and burial will follow at Flemington Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
