Savannah On Tuesday, October 9th, 2012, Irma Todd Salazar passed from this earth under the care of Hospice of Savannah. She was greeted by her Lord as well as her beloved husband Vincent Salazar. Born September 22nd, 1935, in Hinesville, GA to the late Frank Grant and Ruby Yarbrough Todd, Mrs. Salazar was a beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt. A fantastic cook and charismatic woman, Irma opened her heart and home to many and will be dearly missed. Left behind to cherish Irma’s memory are sons Deven L. Wells of Hinesville and Dana L. Wells of Savannah, grandson Brandon Wells (Tonya) of Savannah as well as sisters LaVerne Todd of Savannah, Milodean Davis (Jimmy) of Hinesville, and brother Doyle Todd (Barbara) of Savannah as well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Thursday, October 11th from 6-8pm at Carter Funeral Home in Hinesville. Funeral Services will take place at Carter Funeral Home on Friday October 12th at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Gum Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to Hospice of Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416-0190.
