Edna "Eddie" May Eastlake

Hinesville Edna (Eddie) May Eastlake, 91, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Liberty Regional Medical Center. Eddie was born in Newcastle, England April 24, 1921. Eddie moved from Detroit, MI to Hinesville in 1998. Eddie was a proud member of the Ft. Stewart USBC and loved bowling. She bowled in several leagues and numerous tournaments. Her bowling talents were featured in the first edition of the Liberty Life magazine. She also enjoyed knitting, signing, and watch Atlanta Braves baseball. Eddie was the widow of George Eastlake who passed away September 25, 1989. She was the daughter of Robert and Louisa McFarlane. Survivors are sons Clifford Eastlake of Detroit, MI. and Jeffrey (Sharyl) Eastlake of Hinesville; brother Robert (Betty) McFarlane and sister Marjorie Main Ray of Detroit, MI; Five Grandchildren, James, Patrick, Misty, Amanda, and Adam. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association P.O.
