Mary Alice Harrelson

Ludowici Mary Harrelson, 70, died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at her residence following a short illness. She was a native of Olanta, SC. and lived in Ludowici for 18 years. She was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Ludowici. Survivors are her husband of 28 years Lanneau Harrelson of Ludowici ; daughters Crystal Loudin of Gastonia, NC and Tommie (Mitch) Rykard of Midway; two brothers Frank and Mack Elmore of South Carolina; two sisters Rhea Conyers and Margaret Cribb of Florence, SC; grandchildren David and Justin Shempert and Caroline and Caitlyn Rykard. Visitation will be Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with Service to follow at 3. Interment will be at Dorchester Cemetery in Midway. Rev. Robert Long will officiate. Pall Bearers are Brad Scott, Justin Shempert, David Shempert, Joel Lord, Zack Fenn, and Shane Cota.
