Fleming William “Bill” Webb, 66, died Wednesday July 11, 2012 at Candler Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Savannah and has lived the past 29 years in Fleming. He retired from Gulfstream after 34 years. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife Kathy Webb of Fleming; a son William R. Webb (Jeany) of Richmond Hill; two stepchildren, Jason Dean (Cherie) of Fleming and Jennifer Dean West (Jamie) of Plano, TX; grandchildren, William E. Webb, Taylor Dean, Madysen Trosclair, Kai Dean, Scarlett Dean, Deanna West and Caleb West; his mother Lucinda Adams of Garden City; a sister, Tammy Waller (Mark) of Bloomingdale; a brother, Jones D. Webb (Mary Jane) of Rincon and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, July 13, 2012 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
