Marcus Daniel Waters

Midway Marcus Daniel (Danny) Waters, 71, died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. Danny was born in Evans County and has lived in Midway for the past 27 years. He was a member of Fleming Baptist Church where he served as a purchasing agent, a member of the brotherhood, a member of the senior night committee and active in Sunday school to name a few of his commitments. He was also a mason and a veteran of the US Air Force. He retired from Union Camp after 32 years. Danny was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife Mae Waters; a son Terry Mayall (Debi) of Richmond Hill; a sister, Jane Miles (Ronnie) of Savannah; a granddaughter, Annie Williamson of Richmond Hill; two great granddaughters, Rylie and Emma Williamson; several aunts, uncles,cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Fleming Baptist Church. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Waters Family Cemetery.
