Rita Fay Lee

Rita F. Lee, 57, died Friday, April 6, 2012 at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Liberty County, worked 16 years for the Liberty County Board of Education and was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her Father Roy M. Barnett. Survivors are 2 sons Charles L. (Buckie) Lee Jr. and Roy Samuel Lee of Midway; mother Katie and (Joseph) Satterfield of Maryville, TN; sister Ramona Sturkie of Murfreesboro, TN; brother Richard Dewayne (Debra) Barnett of Covington, Ga.; several nieces; 1 great niece; 3 great nephews, many aunts and uncles and lots of adopted children. Visitation will be 6:00-9:00 pm Monday, April 9, 2012 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church with Rev. Junior Bazemore and Rev. Rickey Rushing officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Gianoutsos, Michael Shafer, Ronnie Barnett, Eddie Chapman, Bubba Crowley and Jim Thompson.
