Savannah Janet Clark Holton, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior April 2, 2012 after an extended illness. She has been a resident of Savannah for the past seventy years coming from Dublin, GA. She was a school bus driver for Chatham Schools for 25 years. Mrs. Holton was also a member of Silk Hope Baptist Church and was very active. She was very artistic and got great joy from giving her pictures to family members and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia Clark Daniel and son-in-law, Kenneth Daniel of Savannah; three grandchildren, Manning and Sharon Clark of Guyton, Brian and Kristy Clark of Port Wentworth, Nick and Kristan Constantine of Pooler, Tina and Kenneth Shores; numerous nieces and nephews; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; special friends, Joy Evans, Rosalyn Jackson, and Lynda Jackson. Mrs. Holton was preceded in death by Robert Lee Dalton, Ruth Blizzard Dalton, Eulan Clark, A.J. Harrelson, Henry T. Holton, Carole Capps, Hector and Harry Dalton, Ray Blizzard and children Vivian Clark and Walter Clark. Visitation will be at Silk Hope Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Internment will be private Remembrances to Hospice Savannah P. O. Box 13190 Savannah, GA 31416 and Silk Hope Baptist Church 4929 Pineland Drive Savannah, GA 31405.
