Harry DeWayne Lord

Harry Dewayne Lord, 54, died Wednesday November 2nd at Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He has been a resident of Richmond Hill for the past 20 years coming from Savannah. He was the assistant manager of Kroger for thirty-four years. A lover of Elvis and an avid collector, he was loved and respected by all. Harry is survived by his wife Sharon Lord; a daughter, Amy Michele Houston; a son, William David Matthews all of Richmond Hill; two brothers, Gary Lord of Savannah and Ray Chester Lord of Richmond Hill; two sisters, Joyce Petty of Richmond Hill and Dianne Novinger of Cedartown, GA; three grandchildren, Bryce Matthew, Kaitlyn Grant, and Christien Houston all from Richmond Hill. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday November 6th at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 7th at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel followed by burial in Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
