Charles Richardson

Charles H. Richardson, Sr., 80, passed away peacefully Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. He was a vetern of the US Army and the US Marine Corps obtaining the rank of Sergeant and reitred from Savannah Steel after 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Valara (Sunshine) Richardson; children Richard Richardson (Candie) of Richmond Hill, Curtis Richardson of Buffalo, NY, Douglas Richardson (Deborah) of Richmond Hill and Carol Richardson (Rick) of Savannah; brother George Edward Ridhardson of Buford, GA; 2 grandchildren Evan Richardson and Wendy Richardson; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burail to follow in Greenwhich Cemetery with military honors.
