Wesley Dean Smith

Canon, Ga Wesley Dean Smith, 40, died suddenly September 16th. He graduated from Richmond Hill High School as class valedictorian for the class of 1989. He graduated in 1993 from Armstrong State College then continued to MCG School of Medicine graduating in 1997. Wesley was employed by Family First Health Care in Lavonia, GA and formerly employed by Royston Medical Associates in Royston, GA. He is survived by a son Andrew Wesley Smith of Richmond Hill; mother, Joyce Register Pfeifle of Savannah; father, Larry Dean Smith of Landrum, SC; maternal grandmother, Ola Murray Register of Fitzgerald; and the mother of his son, Stephanie Stapleton Wilson of Richmond Hill. Vistiation will be held at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel Monday September 19th from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel Tuesday September 20th at 2 p.m. followed by burial at Daniel Baptist Church Cemetery. A memorial Service will be held Friday October 7th at 6:30 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Bowman, GA.
