Ronald Ray Waters

Richmond Hill Ronnie Waters, 64, died Tuesday September 20, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Savannah and has lived in Richmond Hill the past 36 years. He was a member, deacon, and Sunday school teacher at Corinth Baptist church. He worked at WTOC and Savannah Aironautics. He is preceded in death by his parents Emory R. Waters and Elvie Waters. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Gloria Waters; three children, Holly Nelson of Savannah, Sandy Lancaster (Joseph) of Savannah, and Rickey Waters (Alicia) of Richmond Hill; eight grandchildren Wade, Brooke, Jacob, Reed, Sarah, Bethany, Hannah, and Rachel. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday Sept. 22nd at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday Sept. 23rd at Corinth Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Family would like to extend a special thanks to Odyssey Hospice.
